What data do we collect?

TeaFull stores the following data:

  • TfL API session tokens (encrypted - encryption key stored on your device only)
  • TfL payment method IDs (no sensitive data is stored)
  • TfL journey history
  • No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is stored on TeaFull's servers. We don't store your name, email, phone number address, etc.
  • If you upgrade to Pro, we store your LemonSqueezy customer ID. Lemonsqueezy is a third party payment processor and is not part of TeaFull. LemonSqueezy's privacy policy can be found here. You will likely need to give them your email address and billing information. TeaFull does not store this information.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide TeaFull with your TfL Go login credentials, which are exchanged for a TfL API session token. The credentials are not stored.

TfL API session token is used to make TfL API requests on your behalf:

  • Fetch your contactless payment method IDs
  • Fetch your journey history for each contactless payment method

How will we use your data?

TeaFull collects your data so that we can:

  • Fetch TfL journey history
  • Calculate statistics based on fetched journey history
  • Display the statistics to you

TeaFull may use your journey history to calculate aggregate statistics for the entire user base to compare to each other. For example:

  • Your average journey duration vs other users' average journey duration over the same period
  • Your total spend vs other users' total spend over the same period
  • And other similar statistics

Best efforts will be made to ensure the aggregate statistics are not identifiable to an individual user.

How do we store your data?

TeaFull securely stores your data in Germany. Why? Because it's where our hosting provider is located. They also adhere to GDPR requirements, which covers storing UK data.

TeaFull will keep your TfL journey history until you choose to delete it. You may delete your data at any time by deleting your account from the account page.

Your data may be deleted at any time should we decide to stop offering the service, or choose to purge data to save on operating costs.
